Local Spotlight: Grape and Gourmet
Beer geeks like myself have places they call their local beer heaven, for some people it’s a simple grocery store, or local 6 pack shop but my beer heaven is a little place called Grape and Gourmet. The reason I love the place is that it’s run by people who care for both the beer and wine craft. Kevin and Deborah are first class people and are very knowledgeable. They are always getting new stuff in and this is not just the usual stuff. They try their hardest to get stuff you usually wouldn’t see. If they can get their hands on it, they’ll get it. They have a fantastic selection of beers.
Also they do a lot of small stuff that really makes you appreciate the place, stuff like Weekly Beer and Wine tastings, they’ll hold beer for you and give you a call when it comes in, they remember your name and they are always friendly.
