Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, PA

My beer drinking life began with Yuengling. Where I lived in PA, Yuengling Lager was king and it still is. I never got to check out the Brewery while I lived there so I took the chance in November 2007 when I was up visiting my family for Thanksgiving. Luckily it was Yuengling’s 175 anniversary so they had “The Cave” open for tours. The Cave is where they used to store their barrels. This Brewery no longer does barrels, they only do bottles and cans so the cave is now empty but it was still awesome to see. Just a side note, Yuengling is the oldest Brewery in the US. It’s fantastic to see. If you’re near Pottsville, PA. Be sure to do the tour. It is a piece of history.
